This piece was made from a character concept I had drawn. He was a member of the military during the Vietnam war. He's a very clumsy, oblivious, and dorky man who gets mixed up with the wrong side during the war. The night begins as the lights brighten in the mansion. I was really looking for the warm lighting of the chandelier to not just be seen but to be felt. Studied many different kinds of chandeliers as well as contemporary columns.
